__Turtle Song gives the opportunity for people with Alzheimer’s or dementia and their companions to sing and compose their own songs with professional musicians. The project is a collaboration with Turtle Key Arts,  English Touring Opera and the Royal College of Music. The group meets once a week over ten weeks,  and the aims of the project are to enjoy singing together, to write a song cycle, to record the songs on CD and to give the brain and the body a bit of stimulating exercise.  The project's 5th outing takes place at the Warden's Charitable Trust, just north of Aldeburgh.
