Andrew's first experience of conducting was an exciting one. He trained with the likes of Sharon Choa (COA, UEASO, Head of Perfoming Hong Kong Academy), Peter Aston and attended a masterclass with Yiri Behlalovek. He has enjoyed playing under David Parry at the Southrepps Classical Festival and Norwich & Norfolk Festival, as well as Christopher Adey & Benjamin Pope with The Academy of St. Thomas in Norwich. As a singer he has sung under Bob Chilcott, David Dunnett & Ashley Grote. His forte is most definitely within choral directing but he has also conducted the UEA Symphony Orchestra on a Haydn marathon and the UEA Chamber Choir. As artistic director of the Morley Consort of Voices, Andrew has conducted choral groups in a variety of venues in the UK and abroad. Andrew has directed jazz ensembles, pit orchestras, concert bands and most recently the London Mozart Players with the Norwich School Choral Society.
